Wii internet parental controls


Video games are a great source of entretainment. Not only for children, but for the whole family. That's for sure. As a parent you may be worried about what you child are playing with. In Wii, this preocupation extends toward other possibilities, such as tv channes, internet, etc. Therefore, when they are exploring and using the Wii, but you cannot keep a strict eye on what they are playing with, Wii provides a mecanism which allows you to block nintendo features.

It's important to remember that Parental Controls default setting is OFF. So, if
your children ask you a Wii nintendo, you need to learn how to enable parental control settings. This feature manage provides 4-digit PIN which controls what wii content is accessible to users.

There is only one parental setting per console, what means that if you can share he

1) Steps configure parental control settings
***Access Wii System Settings
Power on the console
In the bottom left-hand corner there is an icon that says Wii.

2) ***Go to Wii System settings
Move the cursor over Wii button(botton-left corner) and press the A button.
It will show you two icons: Data Management and Wii Settings




3) *** reach the Wii System Settings 2 menu
Settings screen displays four options to the user. You will notice that lower left hand corner arrange settings in three different screens. Parental Controls is on the second screen. Point your Wii remote towards the number 2 and press the A button on the remote.




4) *** select the Parental Controls
Now, Point your Wii Remote to the first option on the second page.
Press the A button to select the Parental Controls and select "Yes."

5) *** Setting the PIN

Enter the 4-digit PIN and select OK.
